the location was amazing and good, in driving distance to everything that matters. moreover, it's close enough to a working farm, from which guests benefit in the form of fresh eggs, sausage, ham, bacon, bread, jams, all sourced from the farm, main road network, and tranquil gardens.

Lovely countryside historic home dates back well over 200 years. Simply terrific hosts. We were greeted with warm tea and biscuits, complete with a wood fire burning. The home is furnished with antique furniture...step back in time with your stay.

As adventure travelers, we loved the peaceful location of Templemacateer and its proximity to surrounding towns. the warm welcome with tea and homemade cake made us feel right at home. the stylish rooms and rich history of the place added to the exceptional experience. the owners went above and beyond, providing insights and recommendations for the best restaurants and even assisting with reservations. the breakfast made from fresh, local products was outstanding, with free-range eggs and delicious bacon from their own pigs. the lush surroundings offered beautiful walks, and we enjoyed learning about the site and its animals.
We felt safe and secure throughout our stay and had no complaints at all.
